If you’ve ever longed for support with your writing or need help to find your unique voice, then our writing retreat is for you. More than a workshop or a course, this experience nurtures growth, confidence, and self-discovery in a calm, supportive environment. Your wellbeing and comfort come first. Here, it’s not about perfection—it’s about finding what works for you, balancing gentle challenges with encouragement and growing at your own pace.

Writing Retreat Great Deal
Our retreats are delivered over 5 days, with a combination of group and individual sessions with plenty of opportunities to relax, unwind and enjoy Rural Retreat France. We take care of everything so you can immerse yourself in your writing and focus on your learning.
Our 5 night retreats are just €550, which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, accommodation and tuition (travel not included). Accommodation in our purpose built, stylish Dortoir includes all bedding, towels, dressing gowns and toiletries.

What we will do on the writing retreat
Our writing retreat combines group sessions, individual support and practice time, with plenty of opportunities to relax. The retreat is for beginner and emerging writers. We will be exploring the writers ‘voice’ with exercises that help you find your own – through working and sharing work in a small group. We will also explore at a variety of writing techniques. and how to use and give feedback to help each other.

Your writing retreat guide Linda Quinn
Linda grew up in a caravan in West Country fields and byways. She was inspired by the written word when she received her first postcard at the age of three, and set out to rescue as many books as she could from the local recycling dump, a collection that continues to grow.
After working in the Music Industry she trained as an actress at East 15 Drama School, and was the founder of Freefall Theatre Company, performing one woman shows and ensemble pieces.
Alongside acting, Linda was scripting and editing from improvisations and developing skills that led to writing scripts, and an MA in Creative Writing at Birkbeck in London. Her work has attracted noteworthy attention in the film industry. Linda taught Creative Writing at City Lit in London for 20 years and now lives in France, where she has finished her first novel, LINK published just this spring.
